Christine Molnar, RN
CEO
A graduate of Camosun College (RN) and of Ryerson (critical care nursing), Christine Molnar was born in Victoria, BC. She founded Highbury Surgical Recovery in July 2007
to provide confidential, customized post-surgical care and nursing care to patients in Vancouver and throughout the Lower Mainland. With more than 20 years experience as an RN, Christine has worked as a surgical, cardiac, home care and outpost nurse throughout North America. She has also been employed as a cruise ship nurse and at day surgeries and medical centres, including St. Paul 's Hospital and the Cambie Surgery Centre in Vancouver, and UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles. She has significant cardiac, intensive care unit and recovery room nursing experience, and is a Legal Nurse Consultant.
Christine is a member in good standing of the College of Registered Nurses of BC and has current ACLS and CPR certification. She is actively involved with the Nurses In Private Practice group of CRNBC. She belongs to The Canadian Council of Cardiovascular Nurses and The American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses. Active in The Association of Women Business Owners (WBO) and Valley Women's Network, Christine volunteers her nursing services at Ironman and world triathlon events.
Her mission is to provide quality post-surgical care that informs while maintaining patient dignity, ensuring a speedy recovery. Whenever a patient asks her, "How would I have managed without you?" she knows Highbury's services are essential.
